Free beer
But you have to sit through a few hours of listening tests. The time has come again to test some sound cards, and I need impartial ears for an evening of sitting on your ass listening to things.
Will be set up to do this later this week or over the weekend. A wide variety of beverages will be provided for your enjoyment. And dancing girls. Well, mostly just beverages.

I'm in. These things are a trip. You actually get to test if your ears can tell the difference between cheap and expensive hardware.

No actual pain. Not unless being in a room with Saba for several hours is painful for you. I can have him physically restrained, if you'd like.
Looking at probably 4 hours worth of testing. Maybe a little more. All you have to do is sit there, listen to little music and movie clips with different sound cards, and tell me which one sounds the best.
Why? Because sound card reviews that don't do blind listening tests with multiple subjects suck.
When? Later this week or over the weekend, probably. I'm flexible.
