One more way to

Waste our lives. Or we could try to go out.

Comments:
I vote we throttle back on games a little and try to do more social things...
I love them but I think we need to balance things out a bit...

Now will we want to go out Friday *and* Saturday night. I'm thinking after Quattro, we might just want to get all tore up, especially considering J will be finished her module 4 exam.

But then, we could go all out both nights.

Steven will apparently make an appearance Friday, as well. Although he's got to pee in a cup for a new job.

I’m not talking about this Friday necessarily, or any specific Friday for that matter, but I think we should think about other things we could do other than playing games I don’t think we should allow 50% of our fun living time going to racking up points. We need to make memories and stories to round us out so we have things to tell people when they ask what we did this weekend. . There are always tons of cheap restaurants, indy movies, small gallery shows, burlesque shows and the opportunity to have random adventures. I’ve been here for 10 years and there are so many places I’ve never even been to.

C’mon people! Get excited!

Plus if we diversify then we could develop cross-links to other groups (polymerization! -chemistry is everywhere!) leading to possible new interactions. You know I love you guys but the 3:1 ratio isn’t givin’ me the best odds. And since Jenny is the 1, it’s more like 4:0.

Anyways, since I’m currently rockin’ my own brand of self-imposed celibacy as a result of disgust in my inability to have a healthy relationship, this is more for your benefit Brent than for me so I expect some support and suggestions. I know you know about cool things going on so let’s start going. And Geoff, the more shallow psychotic women you meet the more you’ll appreciate Jenny. Same for you Jenny. Except with guys.

Look people it’s Win-Win!

We should make lists. Lots of lists. Movies we want to watch. Restaurants we’re never been to. Theater’s we’re never been to. Bars and clubs and secret places with awesome views. And I don’t think it has to cost a great deal of money. God knows I’m not doing it if it does.

But I think we should shift the balance a little. Not to the exclusion of games but rather games should be the fall back not the primary focus.

So that’s it, that’s my diatribe.

Lemme-no what you guys think.

Works for me. I sit in front of a computer 12 hours a day, so cutting more radiation out of my life isn't going to kill me. Unless, of course, I've developed some sort of chemical dependency.

My place is always available for games, but if there's another plan, I'm all for it. Just as long as I don't actually have to be an urban hipster to hang out at urban hipster locales.
